3 Then Moses came and related to the people all the words of and all the judicial decisions, and all the people answered with one voice and said: "All the words that has spoken we are willing to do." 4 Accordingly Moses wrote down all the words of יהוה . Then he got up early in the morning and built at the foot of the mountain an altar and twelve pillars corresponding with the twelve tribes of Israel. 5 After that he sent young men of the sons of Israel and they offered up burnt offerings and sacrificed bulls as sacrifices, as communion sacrifices to . 6 Then Moses took half the blood and put it in bowls, and half the blood he sprinkled upon the altar. 7 Finally he took the book of the covenant and read it in the ears of the people. Then they said: "All that has spoken we are willing to do and be obedient." 8 So Moses took the blood and sprinkled it upon the people and said: "Here is the blood of the covenant that has concluded with you as respects all these words."

(4) Moses wrote down all the LORD ()'s commands. Early the next morning he built an altar at the foot of the mountain and set up twelve stones, one for each of the twelve tribes of Israel. (5) Then he sent young men, and they burned sacrifices to the LORD () and sacrificed some cattle as fellowship offerings. (6) Moses took half of the blood of the animals and put it in bowls; and the other half he threw against the altar. (7) Then he took the book of the covenant, in which the LORD ()'s commands were written, and read it aloud to the people. They said, "We will obey the LORD () and do everything that he has commanded." (8) Then Moses took the blood in the bowls and threw it on the people. He said, "This is the blood that seals the covenant which the LORD () made with you when he gave all these commands."
